Cluster sessions, webinars and Mash Chats are not chargeable, unless specified, as they are provided to support your use of Purple Mash. These sessions can also be delivered onsite at our usual subsidized rates.

Cluster sessions are held at 2Simple Professional Development Centres, which are usually either schools or local training centres. Just select your geographical area to see what is available near you.

Webinars are up to 30 minutes and focus on a specific area of Purple Mash, they again are not chargeable, but you must register, and a link will be sent a few days prior to the webinar that gives joining instructions.

Mash Chats are an opportunity to talk to one of the Professional Development Team, on a one to one basis, about teaching and learning with Purple Mash.

We're now offering webinars!

As well as our regional cluster sessions we also run regular webinars, so you can enjoy a CPD session no matter where you are in the world.

Introducing Mash Chats!

Cluster sessions:

Getting the most from Purple Mash: Purple Mash is a huge, ever growing resource, with some fantastic new tools in the last six months. So if you don’t feel like you are making the most of what’s on Purple Mash or want to explore the latest, then it’s probably time for a quick twilight update!

Cuppa and Coding: Do you want to get creative and engage your learners with coding? We will be exploring how Purple Mash tools can deliver the coding aspects of the Computing Curriculum in a relaxed, hands-on way. No experience of coding required, just the willingness to give it a try!

Purple Mash and the Computing Curriculum/Coding: This session will explore how Purple Mash can help deliver the whole of the Computing Curriculum in a fun and engaging way from KS1 to KS2.

Set tasks, share work and collaborate with Purple Mash: Now you can set tasks, differentiate, feedback and share work within Purple Mash. Purple Mash also allows pupils to work collaboratively on projects and tasks, both in school and at home. Come and find out more about how you can develop teaching that utilises the power of Purple Mash to enhance learning and motivate learners.

Get writing and reading with Purple Mash: Exploring practical creative tools to stimulate writing and encourage more independence and creativity in literacy skills. Discover the possibilities of online collaborative writing or publishing your work online to share with the rest of the school and parents. Using online fiction to motivate reading at school and home.

Get into Maths with Purple Mash: Come and find out about how you can use Purple Mash tools and resources to make an impact on your maths lessons. The session cover a wide range of topics, from algebra to mental maths, data handling to shape. Learn how to create your own teaching resources as well as use the ready-made activities within Purple Mash.

Create and publish with online tools: A hands on session investigating how children/teachers can get creative online, from works of art to computer games and from ebooks to presentations. Get creative in a safe online space and share your creativity with online display boards and links.
