World Cup activities

April 30, 2018, 4:00 pm

Get summer kick started with our World Cup teaching resources.

We’ve prepared a wide variety of resources for children of all ages and put them all into one convenient location.

Activities cover a variety of topics and range from writing projects and database challenges to game design and football player Mashcams.

At the top of the page you’ll find a printable guide to all the activities which includes a brief description and age guide as well as a link to each individual activity.

Writing projects include player profiles, country profiles, and match reports.

Maths activities include graph design with 2Graph, Interpreting databases with 2Investigate and branching database work with 2Question.

There is also a football coding challenge using 2Code and World Cup quiz designed with 2Quiz.

If you subscribe to Serial Mash, you can also access the 5-a-side Play Off series of Firebolts books, designed to inspire a love of books and motivate all readers.

If you or your class are fans of the world cup, or even if you just like a challenge, why not enter our World Cup design competition, open until Friday 29th June.

So what are you waiting for? Get involved before the final whistle blows!
