Purple Mash helps schools create inclusive learning experiences for pupils with a wide range of needs. Accessibility features include:
Large Icons: Large and easy-to-recognise icons help pupils navigate independently.
Visual Navigation: visual cues, including picture passwords, avatar IDs and pictorial menus, support early readers, EAL learners and pupils who benefit from visual prompts.
Dyslexia-Friendly Reading: Customise page colour, background, font colour & type, and text size to create an inclusive reading environment.

Adapt Learning with Purple Mash AI
Create inclusive activities faster than ever!
The Purple Mash AI add-on has plenty of features designed to support SEND pupils, such as automatically adapting the difficulty of word templates or quizzes to make them easier or more challenging.
Teachers can also instantly translate tasks into multiple languages with the click of a button for EAL students in their classroom.
Home Learning
Every Purple Mash licence includes access from home, enabling pupils to continue learning beyond the classroom using the same familiar tools and resources they use in school.
This consistency helps reinforce learning, while also allowing parents and carers to support their child's learning where appropriate.
I have a large cohort of SEND in my class and they can often struggle with their learning in the classroom. However, in computing, due to the visual and engaging elements, lots feel they can achieve and keep up with their peers. It's a highlight of the week for many.
Alex Williams, Class Teacher and Computing Lead
Stirchley Primary School
Purple Mash has made a noticeable difference in my classroom, especially in boosting pupils’ confidence and participation. It supports SEND pupils during the computing units. The platform’s scaffolded activities and visual prompts allowed them to access the content independently and at their own pace. Pupils across the classes enjoy the interactive nature of tasks, which has led to increased engagement and improved outcomes, particularly in computing. It’s transformed our digital learning experience.

Purple Mash has been fantastic for our school.
Most teachers have said how it has been easy to set up in classrooms and how children are always excited to begin their computing lessons. Many teachers have also mentioned how they use Purple Mash as part of other lessons and how it has helped with inclusion during lessons for children with SEND.
