Held on the second Tuesday in October every year, in 2025 it is celebrated on the 14th of October. We launched Python in Pieces, an interactive coding environment, designed to build student and teacher confidence in the text-based coding language of Python at Bett in January and are pleased to say that it has already been shortlisted for an ERA award.

In 2026, Safer Internet Day takes place on Tuesday 10th February. Over the years, the day has become a landmark event in the online safety calendar, with schools across the world contributing to creating a safer online environment for all. This year's theme is 'Exploring the safe and responsible use of AI. Making space for conversations about life online.' and here we look at some resources you can use and how you can get involved.
