Odd Socks Day will be held on Monday 10th November, where adults and children wear odd socks to celebrate what makes us all unique. At Tenby Schools Penang, Purple Mash is doing more than supporting lessons, it’s helping unite two curricula under one shared approach to teaching and learning. With a 1:1 iPad programme in place, the focus isn’t on the technology itself, but on how it enables creativity, collaboration, and deeper thinking across both the international and national schools.

Rather than a rigid rollout, staff were given the freedom to explore the platform first and the result was immediate buy-in. Today, Purple Mash is embedded across different subjects and year groups, with pupils using it daily to plan, create, code, and communicate their ideas.

The impact? More connected teaching, more personalised learning, and a platform that supports the school’s wider mission to develop confident, curious learners.
