Children’s Art Week takes place over three weeks from 29th June to 19th July. The celebration of the visual arts aims to encourage families and children to take part in creative activities that they may not have tried before.

During the three weeks, creative activities take place across the UK, both virtually and in-person, and there are a host of opportunities for children to be inspired. Let's discover some of the ways you can get creative with the virtual paint tools inside Purple Mash.

Ramadan is the most sacred month of the year for Muslims and takes place during the ninth month of their calendar. This year the period of fasting, prayer, reflection, and community is expected to start on 17th February and will run until either 18th or 19th March. Celebrate Fairtrade this fortnight with resources on Purple Mash.

Fairtrade Fortnight aims to put a spotlight on trade. When trade is fair it has the potential to improve the lives of the farmers and workers who grow our food and make the world a better place. This year's theme is Do it Fair - for People, for Planet and for Fair Pay.

Big Green Week takes place between 24th September and 2nd October and it aims to 'unleash a wave of support for action to protect the planet.
