The countdown is on for #Bett2024 and we can't wait to be there!

It's always a fantastic few days getting to meet our community in person so we hope you'll come along to stand SH21 and say hello! Whether you've already registered or would like to find out more, here's our handy summary of what you can expect from the show and our stand this year.

Get ready for a fantastic sporting summer as the UEFA Women’s European Championship 2025 takes place across Switzerland. Running from the 2nd to the 27th of July, the tournament will see 16 of the top European nations battle it out for the championship trophy.

There is sure to be a lot of interest in the tournament and it's a fantastic opportunity to bring football into the classroom with Purple Mash, and Striver.

The countdown is almost over. After receiving over 100 entries to the Purple Mash Games Design Competition, we're down to the last 8 schools, who are all set to compete in the Grand Final at Amazon's UK HQ on 15th June. Let's look at their games and meet the judges who will decide who will be crowned the 2022 Games Design Champion.

We get asked all the time if schools still need to collect evidence of children’s learning. Our view has always been a resounding “Yes, absolutely!”. There is no doubt the introduction of new frameworks and methodologies created a narrative that collecting evidence was no longer needed. This message was received with open arms from early years practitioners who were fed up with the amount of time they were spending collecting evidence and assessment data. As a result many schools simply stopped collecting evidence because they believed that was the message coming from the experts. However, we have spoken to several schools that gave up collecting evidence and are now regretting the fact that they no longer have a collection of the exceptional practice and learners' magical moments; those experiences are lost forever.

Introducing a brand-new book from Purple Mash Publishing, written by Ivor Baddiel and Jonny Zucker: Brainchild! It's an exciting book for 10-15 year olds which explores the battle between good and evil, and the limits and ethics of medicine.
