This year National Coding Week will run from the 16th to the 22nd of September

There are a number of ways that schools can get involved: run a coding challenge for students, take part in the Digital skills Challenge or showcase how you are supporting coding in the school.

This year International Women's Day falls on Sunday 8th March with the theme Give to Gain. The day was created to celebrate women and their achievements, whilst challenging stereotypes, bias, discrimination and perceptions. To mark the day, we have several resources and activities for you to use on Purple Mash, giving children a chance to explore and write about inspirational women from across the globe.

The Purple Mash Computing Scheme gives primary schools everything they need to confidently teach Computing from EYFS to Year 6. Fully aligned to the UK National Curriculum, it covers Computer Science, Information Technology and Digital Literacy, with ready-to-use lesson plans, teaching resources, assessment tools and a clear progression of skills and knowledge.
