Each month we highlight a different tool or application within Purple Mash and how it can be used within the classroom to support learning across the curriculum. We call this the Mash of the Month, this month it's our Multiplication Tables Check. We were privileged to partner with Lanchester Primary to host Sigmund 'Sigi' Ciffer to share his story with not only pupils from the school, but over 100 pupils, teachers and parents from 25 schools across the North East of England.

On March 3rd, it is World Wildlife Day, a time to celebrate and raise awareness of the world’s wild animals and plants. The theme for World Wildlife Day 2024 is ‘Connecting People and Planet: Exploring Digital Innovation in Wildlife Conservation’, and the focus is on how digital conservation technologies can help wildlife conservation. There’s a wide range of educational resources available within Purple Mash that support the theme that you can use to celebrate World Wildlife Day.

Introducing a brand-new book from Purple Mash Publishing, written by Ivor Baddiel and Jonny Zucker: Brainchild! It's an exciting book for 10-15 year olds which explores the battle between good and evil, and the limits and ethics of medicine.
