At Tenby Schools Penang, Purple Mash is doing more than supporting lessons, it’s helping unite two curricula under one shared approach to teaching and learning. With a 1:1 iPad programme in place, the focus isn’t on the technology itself, but on how it enables creativity, collaboration, and deeper thinking across both the international and national schools.

Rather than a rigid rollout, staff were given the freedom to explore the platform first and the result was immediate buy-in. Today, Purple Mash is embedded across different subjects and year groups, with pupils using it daily to plan, create, code, and communicate their ideas.

The impact? More connected teaching, more personalised learning, and a platform that supports the school’s wider mission to develop confident, curious learners.

The Purple Mash Festive Card Competition gave children the chance to design the official 2Simple festive card on any festive theme they wanted. In less than 3 weeks we received over 8,000 entries from schools worldwide across four age groups, and a school staff category. Thank you to everyone who took part. One of the first pioneers of Nursing was Florence Nightingale who was born on the 12th May 1820, on the 200th anniversary of her birth, the work Florence Nightingale did resonates with us now more than ever. Florence’s ideas and actions changed nursing forever.
