Celebrate Shrove Tuesday by exploring the Christian story behind its origins, and introducing the season of Lent, or celebrate with pancake-themed activities from Purple Mash in your classroom.

In November, the 2Simple Marketing team alongside a film crew visited Harbour Primary in Newhaven, East Sussex. This school had been recommended to us by our Sales Manager Katie, for showcasing outstanding Purple Mash usage. We knew that this was a school that we had to visit!

Anti-Bullying Week is coordinated In England and Wales by the Anti-Bullying Alliance and takes place from 10th-14th November 2025 with the theme Power for Good. Odd Socks Day will be held on Monday 10th November, where adults and children wear odd socks to celebrate what makes us all unique. In this post we look at resources from across the web that you can use to raise awareness.

Save time and stress by using our Mash Club for your extra-curricular club. Mash Club is an after-school computing club aimed at KS2 students with three terms of 8 self-guided sessions, where your pupils will learn to code and blog.

20th March 2020, was the last day of school for many, as children, teachers and parents began a new way of learning at home. Schools have never been closed and many have remained open during holidays in order to support their local communities.

Schools that were Purple Mash subscribers began using it to support home learning and started to realise its potential as a fully cross curricular resource. Teachers have been contacting us to tell us about the engagement they have had from children and parents, the ease of use, safety features and the wide range of activities that they’re setting for their children.
